Cottey College Archery delivered another impressive performance in the latest installment of the Between Ends Series, held February 1. While no medals or podiums were awarded due to the series format, the Comets made their mark across multiple divisions with standout scores and continued consistency.
In Fixed Pins College Women, sophomore Xitlali Botts once again led the way with a 542, a score believed to be a new personal and program record—surpassing her own previous high from earlier in the season. Daisy Flint followed with a strong 528, and CJ Richards added a 519, keeping Cottey's presence firmly in the top tier.
Sabrina Guyton (481), Katelin Sutton (472), and Rachel Wagner (433) rounded out the Cottey lineup, all contributing solid scores and maintaining eligibility for overall series rankings. Guyton and Sutton, along with Botts, have now competed in both the November and February events, positioning themselves well for final standings to be released after the last series meet on February 21.
In Barebow College Women, Asher Goncalves led the division with a 324, followed by Ella-Grace Stiver (297) and Betty-Mai Smith (271), giving Cottey a clean sweep of the top three spots.
Elsewhere, Allison Nalley posted a 478, placing second in her category and continuing her consistent run through the season.
With one event remaining, Cottey's archers are not only chasing top scores but building momentum toward potential series honors. The final rankings will be determined after the February 21 event, where cumulative performance will decide the overall winners.
