Cottey College's Overwatch squad saw their playoff run come to an end with a 3-0 loss to Gustavus Adolphus, closing out a season marked by growth, grit, and flashes of brilliance.

Despite entering the match with momentum and strong team chemistry, Cottey struggled to find rhythm against a disciplined Gustavus lineup. Each map showcased moments of promise—clutch picks, coordinated pushes, and solid ult economy—but the Gusties consistently countered with sharp rotations and superior zone control.

• Map 1 (Control): Cottey opened with aggressive tempo but couldn't hold key points, falling 2-0.

• Map 2 (Hybrid): A strong defensive hold nearly forced overtime, but Gustavus broke through in the final minute.

• Map 3 (Escort): Cottey's payload push stalled at checkpoint two, while Gustavus closed the series with clinical precision.
