The National Fastpitch Coaches Association and the NAIA have each released their awards for 2024 season. The Comets had three players receive accolades, including an All-American.

The NFCA released their All-Region and All-American teams today. Cottey had three players make All-Region selections, with Karina Ramirez and Elizabeth Thomas making the 2nd Team All-Region, while Lauren Johnson landed on the 1st Team All-Region list as the Catcher of the Year. Being on the first team allowed Johnson to be named to the 1st Team All-American list as a Catcher. Johnson was named a 2nd Team All-American by the NAIA, her second consecutive year being named an All-American. 

Cottey's Senior Class broke nearly every school record throughout their playing years, including qualifying for the NAIA National Tournament every year eligible.
