Cottey College Senior Madalenn Fee added to her impressive collegiate career with another honor. Fee won the American Midwest Conference Runner of the Week award for her performance at the SBU Bearcast XC Invitational. She placed 11th in a stacked field, finishing with a time of 18:28. That helped lead Cottey to a 6th place finish as a team, kicking off the season on a positive note. Fee is a 2-time NAIA National Qualifier in Cross Country, and is looking to make it a 3rd consecutive trip this season. 

The Comets Cross Country squad will be back in competitive action on September 26th at the Chile Pepper XC Festival in northwest Arkansas. The race is one of the largest in the region, with 13 separate divisions taking on the course.
